On a cold but sunny day of winter, we went to the Malpasset dam (Fréjus).
It’s the place of the most important human disaster in France. On December 2, 1959, the entire wall of the dam collapsed and the flood carried a lot of big piece of the dam on several kilometers. A giant wave descend upon Fréjus and more than 400 people died :(.
The area is impressive.
